Post by Deian » Thu Aug 23, 2018 4:28 pm

We have started Homing procedure.
The switches stooped pressed on the end and the Gantry don't go back, the switches remain pressed.

Can you advise

1) There are Speed and Slow Speed settings in the Macro Wizard for homing.

What is actual speed your machine moves toward the sensors during homing?
If actual speed is "Slow Speed", you probably mixed up Normally Opened/Closed sensor settings.

2) Do you have "Ignore Limits checkbox checked?
If your Home sensors are actually Limits sensors and this checkbox is NOT CHECKED, then the machine will stop immediately when limit sensor pressed. You need to set the checkbox and generate the macro again (Generate, Save Macro, Save buttons)

Your example is for Z axis.

Could please give example for alignment of Y and Y2

If limit switch pressed,
- g-code running blocked
- step jogging blocked
- unlimited jogging blocked toward the sensor. For example,
a) if limit +X pressed, then then jog +X blocked, jog -X available
b) if limit -Z pressed, then then jog -Z blocked, jog +Z available

So, if limit switch pressed, move back should be available in unlimited jog mode.

Here is an example what should be fixed to change a gantry axis from X to Y. I encourage you to study how it should work. It will be quite difficult to test the system if you just copy-past the sources to the profile.
